Always fond of seeing what people can do with the toolset that RPGMaker provides. I think with cleanup of bugs and such this could be a much more fun game, but between the bugs and the feeling that the jam’s theme was really just background noise and not really integrated, I’m left wanting more.

Very enjoyable submission. Art style gives a sort of Risk of Rain meets Limbo vibe. The controls could definitely use some work - jumps are very floaty, only being able to aim straight left or right feels bad when the bosses can come from angles, crouching would be nice.

The concept is outrageously cool. I’m a tiny bit let down on execution though. A good selection of rap battle type beats, some real platforming that doesn’t feel hyper floaty, and some sound effects to actually differentiate that this is a rain storm around us not just lines, and this would rate so much higher.
