And yeah, sadly things like abuse can be truly complicated to solve IRL. If it were simple, habitual abusers won't even exist. Like in the case of Galatea's story in this game, realistically her tragedy continues on after The Woman ending as well. Pygmalion's body would rot, someone would notice the smell, and the authorities would be contacted. Pygmalion left trails of her existence, so Galatea would spend her life on the run, still affected by his shadow. Though her being an AI, it should be easier for her to find some respite eventually, so that ending is still quite fitting for the setting. But yeah, IRL, it's far more complicated and heartbreaking ;v; 

Anyways, at least Galatea has a chance and I'm glad she can find some respite in the end. Stories like this give courage and hope, so thank you 🥰💞

The "Born Sexy Yesterday" trope gets explored quite a lot, especially in straight male media for that power fantasy. It's sickening, for sure. This mythology especially rubs me the wrong way because the gods are seemingly on his side too; not actually turning Galatea into a woman. Even after she has blood running in her veins, she's still a glorified statue deep down, incapable of any critical thought. If they had turned her in good faith, realistically Galatea would have form some discomfort and fear further into the relationship with the incel that is Pygmalion, even if she has trouble pinpointing why at fist. 

Like, when I checked it out, I was sure he's gonna learn a lesson or something, but nope. He got his power fantasy instead. It feels so out of place in the tragedy cesspit that is these mythologies. 

So yeah, I'm really glad you made this game. You explored the trope and mythology in a tasteful and sensitive way. That, even though none of this is real, Galatea has people who support her and want her to thrive as her own woman. Much like how these stories were written, let us be the gods who set her free. And you did just that 🥰💞

P.S. GUI and VFX are your weaknesses?! I wouldn't have guessed! Everything felt so professional! It couldn't have been easy, so bravo on tackling your weaknesses 😁👌🏻✨

All 3 routes are so well-written and thought-provoking that it intrigued me to check out the mythology. I'm actually surprised it has a happy ending since these usually end in tragedy 😂😂

I'm glad you decided to explore the creepy conotation in Pygmalion and Galatea's relationship. Making it about a sentient AI and her abusive creator is 100% fitting! Major props for the modern concept fr 😌👌🏻✨

All in all, really love the execution, especially how the reboot continues the story on in a loop kind of implies that the Doctor traps Yumeko in a pre-programmed and pre-recorded scenario until she succumbs to his wants and needs, whilst the real him sits back and watch until she's ready. Def amps up the creepiness for me 💯

I also appreciate how the narrative tastefully mirrors similar situations in real life. I've seen firsthand how women would succumb and actually delude themselves into thinking they love the men who abuse them, just to make it mentally easier to go through. Fawning being one of the best methods of survival is also accurate; fawn and trick them until you see a chance to escape. Sadly, most decide to choose the former route due to a lot of complicated factors. I can only hope society improves in this regard fr :' )

Really heartfelt and relatable, reminding me of hard convos I've had with my boyfriend too. It's def hard to find the right person and I'm glad that Pommy and I managed to find the right one for us 🥹💞💞

I also love the texting section! That part was hella cute! Paris is legit me when I text my bf, only with even more emojis, as you can see 🤭🤭✨ It's really comforting to have a guy character use them, tbh, so thanks for that bit of healthy masculinity rep 😁💞💞

Eyyo! Finally got to the game! Feeling quite burnt out, so decided to get some rest and here I am! I came out hella inspired instead! MMM is so good, I don't even know where to start, seriously 🥳✨💞

First of all, I really love how simple yet effective the story is! Through show don't tell alone, you know that Geist is a manifestation of the MC's self-doubt, but... Is he really? He is an LI and all! Who's to say! I like the ambiguity of his existence, which is about the only thing that keeps him save from my "fck you" punches and yandere bug sprays 😇✨ Lol, JK! I do like that in Kalei's route Geist undergoes development too, just as the MC does! That's a really nice attention to detail of how anxiety doesn't really go away, but it does get better. I've been in both sides of the routes, so yeh, safe to say you portrayed anxiety perfectly 🥰🤲🏻✨

As for the art! It's real nice to the eye and everything has this artsy charm to it, which I enjoy~ And I finally saw what the animation fuss is all about! Def neat 😁👌🏻💞 I also love the contrast of Geist's coldness and Kalei's warmth in the gallery. Love that detail 👀✨

For me, the highlight of this VN is def Kalei. I've survived an especially messy toxic relationship and it really took me a long while to heal, so Geist really doesn't appeal to me and his bullshit just plinks off me like harmless bullets, lol. But I enjoyed giving him the finger and smirking fck yous at him as I focus on the precious that is Kalei 😌🤲🏻✨💞💞 Kept awing at his smiles, like gawd! How can he be so cute?! It's illegal 😩💞💞

The art direction is even more impeccable than the prequel! I love the patterns for the background and the fog and the text effects! They're so cool! Not to mention the creature fading away with a smirk on the title screen! Really sets the mood! Overall, I could go and on about the art! 😤🤲🏻✨💞

The sound direction is awesome as well! The music and VA really sucked me in! I didn't even realize there were only 2 VAs until I peeked at the credits! They're so good 😂😂👌🏻✨

But yeah, other than minor typos here and there and Ending 4 feeling a bit abrupt for my taste ( I'd like to stick around The Crooked Man and learned more stuff. Maybe a route where he allows us to stay, seeing he was already quite hesitant about it. ) Overall a really good short game tho! I enjoyed it a lot 😁 I'm guessing there's gonna be more? It's quite complex, I can't even begin to dissect their relationship with the little energy I have rn, lol. All I can say is, once again~ Great job, Chim! 😌🤲🏻💞 I do feel like I might've missed some nuances though since I barely have any knowledge of Greek mythology, but even I can tell there's some Grade A drama and tragedy in there 👀👌🏻✨

I also love the art effects here as well! ( I noticed her colors changed to those of her sisters! Is that significant in any way? Aw damn, the contrast between Hippolytus as this brave, proud young man, but still so innocent and naive that he doesn't even know what to do with Phaedra's twisted affection and even victim blamed himself for her feelings, is just so poignant. There may be more to the story, but I feel for him in this moment 😔

But for now, I read his reluctance in killing Phaedra to be out of fear, yes, perhaps pity, but also a sliver of kindness. Because, aside from this twisted affection, she's still just any other woman. His step-mother, no less. She's not a beast. Not a monster. Just a flawed woman with a twisted affection. She doesn't deserve to be killed. Not even rapists of the highest degree are sentenced to death. What she needs is therapy and rehabilitation. As they say, hate the sin, not the sinner. 

I've struggled with that mindset myself. After all, I've been and am abused and want nothing more but punishment to those who have wronged me. But... It's true that we are all still human in the end. Every one of us deserves a second chance ( well, within reasons, lol ). Punishments, death sentences, those are just an easy way out...

Ofc, all victims and survivors still have the right to exercise their boundaries, which means they don't have to forgive those abusers nor even breathe the same air as them. No one can nor should talk them into it either. It's 100% their right and choice to make. The sinner's redemption shall not and will never be the victim/survivor's responsibility to see through. 

That's what Phaedra pushed onto Hippolytus. She chose to take an easy way out. She wanted Hippolytus to take responsibility. When it's supposed to be her sin and hers alone.

And this is how Hippolytus wound up blaming himself. Amidst all his confusion and fear and failure in felling her, he directed all that frustration onto himself. After all, what is an easier target but yourself? 

Haa, yep, very relatable story to me. Fortunately, I've never been taken advantage of in that way by a family member, but yeah, many similar cycles when it comes to familial abuse. 

I feel for him. I wish I could reach out and hug him. Tell him it's not his fault. Tell him it's not his reponsibility to help Phaedra get her easy way out. Tell him that it's okay. Everything will be okay. 

As for my opinion on the first entry now; I'm disappointed but not surprised Phaedra killed herself. From the first moment of rejection, she was looking for an easy way out for her feelings and harassment. Although at the very least, I'm glad she didn't wait around for Hippolytus to kill her. That she at least realized what she did was wrong. 

And I guess that's the tragedy. Instead of improving herself, instead of apologizing and talking things through, to then live with the guilt of her sin, she chose to end the chapter of her life. Her easy way out. 

At least, that's the way I see it. 

I'm also shocked to find out Ariadne killed herself. She didn't deserve that, goddammit :' )

But yeah, this one is even more impactful than the first, Chim! So hella bravo! Congrats on slipping my hypeman mask for a sec and peeked at the person beneath 😝 Solid 10/10 for the writing! 🥳✨💞

For the art direction~ Holy heck! How did you do the part with the sun going all ripply?! That was hella cool and intense!! I need a tutorial ahsjksls-- 😭🤲🏻💞💞 But yeah! I love most of the art direction! Even better than the first one! I do wonder what's the purpose of the Hippolytus parallax effect tho? Owo Breaks immersion a bit for me, but nothing major, so is okie 😁👌🏻✨

The voice acting? To be honest, at first the delivery was quite rough and sounded like the VA was trying too hard to sound dramatic, but throughout the game, I could hear the VA actually improving on their delivery and the parts where they yell were actually truly intense! So mad props on that! Improving within just one project takes real skill, so yeh! Am impressed 😳👌🏻✨💞

As for improvement feedback~ The music volume issue is there, ofc, so I won't comment on it further. Unfortunately, it also extends to the voice acting volume. Probably because you were trying to balance it out with the yelling parts? But yeah, it resulted in the non-yelling parts sounding really low, even at 100%. There were even parts where I could barely hear the voice at all. Not sure if you've fixed it for the last entry, but I'll say it here anyway, seeing as the music volume issue persisted 🙉🤲🏻

Holy crap-- Your monster designs are simply gorgeous and stunning! Yet also rather unsettling at the same time! Aesthetic horror at its finest, imo~ My fave is uh... Pinkie's 👀👌🏻💞 ( Trying not to spoil thigs agshkdkd-- )

Love the char designs as well! And those relics, dang-- I thought they were like guardian angel-type things with how colorful they are, but-- NOOOOOPE!! 😂😭🙏🏻💦

As for the story, it, ofc, feels a bit rushed due to it being a jam game, but otherwise~ I still had a good time with it. The characters are lovable and I ship who the story wants me to ship, however subtle ( ;D ). The ending is super intriguing and def makes me wanna read more!! ( COME ON THAT CANT BE THE END SHDHJDLF-- )

Although, I do have to admit that the NVL writing style suffers in the box of ADV style. I had a hard time figuring out who's talking at times due to the lack of name boxes. But most of all because; ADV having programmed me to think the one talking is the one shown nearest the text agshdjjd-- So. My head hurt a little because I had to essentially reprogram how I read in this style.

This issue should be fixed once you switch to the NVL style you showed tho, so all good ^v^)b 

All in all~ Whilst I agree with you that this is quite flawed ( yes, I have more crits and suggestions ( occupational hazard hh ) but I don't wanna seem like a jackass so sksks-- ), it's pretty good for a first release! You should be proud! And I definitely can't wait to read more of your writing! Next time, in the style where it will truly shine 😁👌🏻💞
