Build 9 - made several adjustments to the movement system and camera to give the player more control over their ship.

Should feel snappier

Hello there!

First of all, thanks for playing and reading this discussion! I want feedback on the current control system, which even for me is a little bit difficult to aim with. But at the same time, I’ve been able to beat wave 6.

So what are your thoughts on it? What is fun and unique? What is frustrating?

Thanks in advance for the feedback. 😁

Thanks for playing! I really appreciate the feedback!

I'm kind of surprised you consider it relaxing with the music, but maybe I'll see if I can learn into that somehow. :D

Thanks for playing and providing feedback!
You can throw the trolley aswell, but I should probably make that clearer. 🫠

If you wish to try the game, but do not like the idea of downloading and running the .exe, I've uploaded a Web version of the the game.

Please note - THIS WEB VERSION IS NOT FOR THE SUBMISSION - I've only briefly tested and it does seem to crash, but you can get the gist of my game from it.

Great job. Needs audio, but its a very fun little rouge like.
You could add an old arcadey racer feel to this game by giving bigger 'maps' to fly through, like your ship is trying to reach a destination and you have to pilot through an asteroid field.

I have added a dev log detailing my previous code commits!

More to come. :D

Awesome.
However, could you possibly expose the goose' "Speed" value in the folder? Perhaps in a text file.

My colleagues ran this on a TV screen, and the goose traveled at a very slow speed compared to a normal laptop screen.

I also have a feeling that the speed of the goose is limited by the FPS, and not actual DeltaTime. Could you update the goose to use delta time?

Thanks, and awesome work. =D
