Timing couldn't be more perfect, I just uploaded the latest public version. It's a bit small as we were testing some stuff and working on Live2D but you can read the full patch notes with the devlog!

I'm afraid I have never tried to use the itch launcher nor do I know how it works. The best I could do would be to recommend downloading the files and manually installing. It's only a renpy game so installing is very simple.
