I am trying to run Superpowers on a headless server. I followed the steps in the Setting up Superpowers: Download Superpowers-Core and unzip it. Then in the terminal type "node server start". The server starts and I managed to login, but I try to create a project I get the error "This server doesn't have any systems installed yet. Please install one from the Server Settings tab first". I've tried to download the Superpowers-Game and unzip it in the "systems" folder in the the Superpowers-Core directory, but that did not work. I am using Ubuntu and Superpowers-Core-v4. What should I do?

Edit: I cannot see the server settings tab mentioned in the error. Is there something wrong?

Sorry, I got it. I skipped inserting my irc nickname and thus the app did not proceed the core installation. I restarted the app, inserted my nickname, core got installed and it is working fine now.

I've downloaded v1.1 on my Mac, but no matter how many times I press the start button, it does not start. I am using OSX 10.10. Any idea what is the cause?

Thank you

Thank you for your reply. I was actually trying to create the effect of walking in a dark place (e.g. a cave) with a torch (the light source) hanging on the wall which will illuminate a small area. I wanted to exploit the fact that superpowers is a 3D engine and wanted to use that in a 2D context.

Hello All,

I was trying to create a shadow effect for 2D game using an actor with light component, but it did not work (I think it works only with 3D?). If there is no direct way, can someone at least advice me on how to create/mimic the effect?
