If memory serves, the idea with that boss is to focus on healing between attacks.  Try making sure you attack with an advantageous phase, then shift back to a defensive one by the end of the turn.  Doing so will also heal you in the process, so it should be possible to stretch the fight on pretty long by playing conservatively with your cards.

Of course, if the damage is too high, you could also just attack while staying in a defensive phase, and just take the fight slowly.

Please send me your save file at WyrmlingProductions@gmail.com - I'll dig up the archives and see what I can do.

EDIT:  I've updated the game and sent you a fixed up save file.  Let me know how it goes!

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the game so much, despite the bugs.  I put my heart into this one, but there were just so many third party scripts running behind the scenes that it never quite worked flawlessly.  There were never any unavoidable crashes reported, so I hope you were able to get past Militias in the end.

A lesson for other developers that I hope to take to heart in the future:  keep it simple, make sure it works, and then build on it from there.

Born of the Eclipse is on sale now.

This will be my second commercial game release, but the first one on itch.io.  Born of the Eclipse features a hybrid RPG and Collectible Card Game battle system, where the goal is to build a deck of cards made by capturing various enemies.  There are 100 cards to find.

The game is set in a world where humans no longer have emotions, instincts, or anything of the sort.  Instead, monsters based on these lost feelings appear in the sunlight, forcing humanity to hide in the shadows.  The story follows a girl named Lucid on her journey to understand the world she was born into, and use her new abilities to find a way to fix it.

Thank you for taking the time to give it a look.
