you cant place on the blacked out/gray area because you have not "explored" it yet and you cant swim/ move in water to "explore" the area.

coz you can only see them if you change the water digits(16) to the grass digit(0) or any other walk able surface.

anyone seen the apple trees yet?

now you have added bridges... there useless. because you cant place them on the black areas so you cant get across to the left or right side of map (they are only good for the one bit straight down from the spawn location. but then you can just go around).
