Because that's what the creator of the game was interested in creating. There are not a lot of games which focus on the perspective of being a dominant male interested in a submissive male, and this game decided to be one of them.

Ngl I'm getting extremely tired of people demanding straight content in gay games. Go find another game that suits your interests better. This game is quite clearly tagged as gay and yaoi. You don't see gay people demanding gay protags in straight only games but yet we see plenty of straight people demanding their straight wishes are satisfied in games intended to be gay only.
