Dang, this is hard. I got really close to winning with just 3 squares left. Nice implementation of a classic concept!

I must say, the boss fight against the pirate pizza king was a fantastic finale, but I most enjoyed the pepperoni mini-boss fight that ended the absolution arc, just before the ultimate revenge act started. All in all, it's truly amazing you fit in all of that heartfelt dialogue between the main character and his sidekick to really go above and beyond. Cheers to you my friend. 100% would eat this pizza again.
