chpwd may stand for something but I don't know what though...

The thread called "I think I'm overthinking this" should help for that

After that its trial and error to match symbols with their corresponding values

I've reached the section of the game titled "You've got mail" and I can't figure out what the diagram represents much less what to do with the calculator. Maybe just the lack of sleep is getting to me so if someone has any insight, it would be much appreciated. :) (Also is it possible to access the syscalls.txt file or is that just for story?)

Dear Mallardbro,

Sticking true to the whole letter format, I'd like to ask you a question. Upon reaching said step, what is the process you did towards finding out beyond trial and error? Currently I have them narrowed down to basic functions and upon restarting, the buttons seem to act the same but the symbols change location.

Yours truly,

So... this is awkward...

Like 2 minutes after posting I did some digging and by that I mean I figured out how to work it.

To anyone else having this issue it seems the problem is that the app is inside the app. In order to play, right-click the downloaded file and "Show Package Contents". There you'll find the actual app.

Upon opening the app I'm prompted with a screen saying "You can't open the application "ProOfficeCalculator_1.0.5" because it may be damaged or incomplete."

I'm unsure as to whether this is on your end or mine but I'm running macOS Sierra on a Mid-2012 MacBook Pro. Any help would be appreciated because this game already seems like fun and me and Wine aren't best of friends currently.
