There are 15 total food items (including the base 3 food items)
I will say that the only food items that are used in making new ones are the following
Sweetdough
Inkilian Filet
Bogglefruit
XLT Sandwich
Fruitroll
Mixed Salad

Love the game so far!
Just the slimes in the caverns were a little annoying, i found the first spawned but i had more that spawned near the center column and i don't know where they came from.

Holy hell, I just played this and am having too much fun!

there is definitely some learning curve to it which could be mitigated by some more levels in the future that slow down and incrementally introduce specific movement, and maybe a way to better avoid incoming fire from enemies like a way to lean against walls and expose only a small portion of body, also that could be used as a disadvantage of getting larger~
