If I make a shape just an outline with transparent middle, is it still considered a shape? As a side note, are pixelated shapes (like the example) allowed, or is the expectation that they will be high-enough resolution to where you cannot see individual pixels?

I might be mistaken, but it says it "is allowed", not "is not allowed", and the last jam that had the same rules had some submissions with post processing.
