Daniel,

Thank you so much! I look forward to showcasing more about our upcoming project!

Thank you so much! I actually did not give up on making games, but that means more than you know. I still have all of the plans in play for this game, but sadly due to cost, I put the project on the back burner. This game is one of my dream games. I've always loved this project, and I don't think it's fair to sacrifice the quality of the project just to complete it, and it is poorly made for the sake of completion.

I hope this will give you some hope on things I have to come, but I have been building my own game studio, Xochi Interactive. We are currently working on a demo titled Hawthorn that we expect to release in the first quarter of 2023. It's not a horror game, but a fantasy RPG-style game that is primarily focused on the story backed up with immersive combat. Our goal is to use this project to establish a name for the company, then with that name and funding, if the project does well, move on to revisiting Promnesia and making it flushed out and done to the quality it deserves.

I can't thank you enough for playing and sharing your experience with my game as well! I've watched every single person play my game, and it amazes me that it's still being downloaded and played after a couple of years. I've attached a link to our website, and we will start being active on social media next month every week. We do plan to ramp up and post more frequently than once a week when it comes time for our demo to release.

No problem! You really was but the game should play a lot better and look better as well. The full game will be posted here on itch.io for sale as well as Steam. Big updates coming, currently debating between doing a new demo for the game prior to release or just making the full game. Right now, the plans are no demo and full game later this year, that's the goal.

Hello LeeLooDallas,

Thank you for playing my game and recording your experience! The final ending is a bit tricky, when you get the note telling you to pay attention to the time as you don't have long, that's a hint. There's only one clock at this part of the game and you must go look at the clock and use the zoom function to zoom in on the clock and focus on the time. Text will appear stating the time and you'll hear a door unlocking sound, when you walk down the stairs the door in the middle will open, and you'll be free to escape! It's a small demo I made while in school that I'm working on into making a full game. A lot of improvements are being made, and I am glad that you are liking it! Feel free to subscribe to the YouTube channel as I will be posting updates in the future about the game, posts haven't been made in a while but progress has been happening.

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

GrynchGaming,

Thank you so much for giving it a go again, as always it's highly appreciated! I also realized I didn't subscribe by mistake last time, so I went ahead and subscribed to your channel as well. Thank you so much for playing and sharing your experience!

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

Squidz9,

What do you need help with? I'd be more than happy to help :)

Noob Gamer,

Thank you so much for playing my demo, it means a lot! I'm glad to hear you liked it and see potential in the game, I'm hoping it continues to grow and become great :)

Thank you,

David Clark

ShaunOfTheDread,

I'm really glad you enjoyed it, and I hope you enjoy the future update that's coming :) A lot will be changed, I will be revealing more of the story and how the actual game will play, but I feel player's will enjoy it more. Thank you again for taking the time to play my short demo, it means a lot!

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

GrynchGaming,

I'm unsure on what you tried, but if you go up to the clock after you have read the note, then press the right mouse button you'll zoom in and focus. Use this zoom in feature on the clock in the lobby to trigger the event that unlocks the door in the middle of the room. The note is a puzzle saying pay attention to the time and the player must focus on the time to trigger the event. I will say though, that this is the end of the demo when you get to that point. An update is coming though where the demo will be extended with more puzzles :)

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

Slawek,

Thank you so much for playing and sharing your experience. I actually contracted a few new people to help me update the demo to a new version that hasn't been released, but I appreciate your feedback! I gave the video a thumbs up and a comment as well :)

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

MatrixEnzo,

Thank you for playing, and I'm glad you're intrigued! I will actually be extending the demo to make it longer for players. I'm hoping this will get more people interested in the game, and when the next fundraising for the game releases more people will be aware of it. Thank you again for taking the time to play my demo :)

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

chaosmasterro,

Thank you for viewing the trailer and so glad you liked it! I can't wait to reveal more as the full game progresses and gets better :)

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

TUD,

Thank you for playing my demo, I liked the video and commented on it as well. I appreciate you taking the time to play my short demo and showcase your experience. I will continue to improve the demo as well as the length of it.

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

Step Vibes,

Thank you for playing my demo, I really do appreciate it! I gave your video a thumbs up and left a comment on the video further explaining the game a little. I hope that this helped, and I am improving upon the game still. It was my first time releasing any projects, so I definitely know it's not perfect. I'm hoping that my future iterations guide it towards the right direction.

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

Shienoful,

Thank you so much for playing my demo, it really does mean a lot! I have big plans for the game, but unfortunately it will take me time. I'm reworking the enemy you seen and working on a new enemy as well :)

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

SaucyYasser,

Thank you for playing my demo it means a lot! It's okay if the Kickstarter doesn't succeed, I'm actually updating my new Patreon page to try and raise the funds :) I won't give up on this project and hope to see it reach completion. Thank you again for playing and sharing your gameplay experience!

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

STEVIED,

I apologize for this delayed response, but I do appreciate you playing my game and sharing your experience with it on YouTube. I liked, subscribed, and commented on your video as well :) Thank you for playing and I updated the demo 2 weeks ago, but full game is in development and I must say it's starting to look good!

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

jadek,

Thank you so much for playing my game, and I'm glad you liked it! More updates will come and the full game is in development :)

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

PublicLewdness,

Thank you so much for sharing and keeping me updated! That's great to hear that's running well! I found some ways to improve the game's optimization, so I'll probably release an update in the future with this update. I want to test it first thoroughly before releasing and make sure it doesn't cause any glitches. Thank you so much for sharing the game on reddit!

Best,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

PublicLewdness,

Linux version is up! I don't have a way of testing it, so if you are able to play it, please let me know if it works properly.

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

Awesome thank you for bringing it to my attention, I'm going to test this and see if I can resolve the issue.

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

King_Of_Metal,

I appreciate you playing the update and streaming it! If you turn off the music box and die, that's also been updated as well in case you ever play through it again on your own time. I plan on adding a few more things, but when big changes happen I'll let you know :)

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, one last question though if you don't mind. Did it occur from the side where the door opened, the rear side, or both sides did it? I have been trying to replicate this, but I'm having no luck. I'm trying to do it in the build now, as it may have been a build issue and not an issue in the Unity editor.

Thank you again,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

lamb chop yt,

Thank you for playing my game, it means a lot! There's actually a note in the picture frame letting giving you a hint on how to escape :) The demo is short but hope you enjoyed it!

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

M23BobGames,

Thank you for showing this to me! I'm going to work on fixing this so it doesn't become a problem for others as well. Do you know if it happens constantly or only once so far?

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

Adrionic,

Thank you so much for playing my game, it really means a lot! I just uploaded an update Monday to make some changes and improvements. Feel free to download it and check it out. If you do please let me know what you think!

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

PublicLewdness,

Yes, there is plans for a Mac version as well. I'll post an update when they are released :)

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

Katyfoo,

Thank you so much for playing my game, it really means a lot! Hopefully, it reaches the Kickstarter goal and is able to be completed within 6 months :) If it doesn't I'll still be working on the game for sure! Thank you for sharing your experience!

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

PseudoGrimm,

You're definitely most welcome, and thank you for playing the game it really does mean a lot. The puzzle mechanic will actually be a much larger part of the final version of the game. I enjoy creating puzzles and allowing the player to solve the puzzle on their own. Even if the Kickstarter campaign fails, I will still work on this project, but it will take a lot longer to complete the game. However, it will be worked on and improved upon one way or another.

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

King of Metal,

Thank you so much for taking the time to play my game, it really does mean a lot. Yes, it is a short demo, which will receive an update tomorrow, it's not a major update but it will hopefully make the experience a little better. Feel free to download it tomorrow if you'd like and let me know what you think. The full project has a lot more to come :)

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

Button Pushin' Cushion,

That makes me really happy to get feedback like this, and I appreciate you sharing your experience so much. If you don't mind rating the game it would mean a lot! The update should get people slightly more excited for the full version that's coming soon. The playtime isn't extended at all, I just wanted to fix the "You Escaped" part because that's the complaint by most people. It won't be much, but worth giving it another shot :)

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

TakeTheJurny (Youtube Star),

Thank you so much for playing my very first game, it means a lot! I also appreciate you taking the time to rate it as well! I'll be doing an update on Monday hopefully, let me know if there is anything you'd recommend I improve :)

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

PacoTacoJuegaa,

Thank you so much for playing my game, it means a lot! Yeah I'm currently editing the end to have some text for what they should look forward to in the final version of the game. Update coming Monday! :)

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

SgtT,

Thank you for playing my game, and sharing your experience it means a lot! I am giving the end more than just a You Escaped text in the newest update that should be releasing on Monday. I created this demo in a month for a small project, then decided to proceed to make a full game to finish the story. I tried not revealing too much of the story as the main game is story driven as well as suspense driven. Hopefully, the future update will make the player's experience much better!

Thank you,

David Clark

feidhleem,

Thank you much for playing and sharing your experience. The main reason no sprint button was used was because it was initially a school project I developed within a month. I posted it online for a wider range of feedback and the game grew in popularity on this site, so I decided to take it further and go into development for a full version of the game and finish the story. Thank you again for playing my game!

Thank you,

David Clark

SnickerDudeAl,

Thank you so much for playing my game, it truly means a lot! Congrats on escaping! I know the game is short, but there is more coming as long as the Kickstarter does well. Also, if you enjoyed the game would you mind rating it? Very few people have been rating the game, and I'm trying to get a better idea on how well the game is and what improvements I can make :)

Thank you,

David Clark (Promnesia Developer)

L Squared LIVE,

If you wouldn't mind, could you rate the game? I'm trying to get more ratings as it currently only has 4 with an average rating of like 2.5 or 3 stars. Half rate it as 1 and the other half gave it a 5. I'm trying to encourage people to rate it, so I can gather a better judgement of what the majority of people think. Sadly, the people who gave it a low rating left no feedback, so I'm currently not sure on how to improve the demo in their eyes.
