Nope, You did nothing wrong. I marked this as prototype status for that reason. I'm open to adding more to it and/or advancing this idea further in the future.
My devlog explains more aboout what I was thinking/was doing with this. It wasn't very ambitious but it was a crucial step i felt I needed to take. :)

I didn't make the main song you hear but when you interact with the random object scattered around . It plays songs that I actually made myself :) Just random beats I had lying around
Pretty neat little game! I really liked the idea and could think of some neat mechanics you could add to this type of game if you developed it further. The sound design was kinda annoying. Just a lil variation in the sounds would've been nice but overall Great job! Fun Game! :)
Absolutely LOVED this idea! The art style really reminded me of the old Emo Metal Bands like Attack Attack! and A Day to Remember and how their albums used to look.
Very fun game, Really reminded me of Vampire Survivors but with some fun twists. I really liked how they Hearts slowed you down as you collected them. I didn't realize it until it was almost too late and I died so that was a fun learning lesson lol
I think the game froze/broke after the first round though cause I couldn't upgrade my character nor play another round which I totally would've!
All around, great concept and fun game! Great Job on this one!!!!! <3
