Sorry if this is off topic - but I'm new here and have been a long time fan of the 2003 Pirates of the Carribean game, and recently I started modding it myself.  But I reached my limitations fairly quickly and had to use nastier and nastier hacks to achieve my goals.

 Anyways, I've digged through almost 20 years of old forums to find out that the original Storm 2 engine code is lost ;(

 However, I also read that Akella gave the Storm 2.8 to modders - and now you guys rewrote it and did a bunch of magic and sell it as Maelstorm, right?

So tell me please, how does one get the source code? If I buy your engine, do you include it? Or if I join the dev team? Any advice is good!
