What a great game! Some things I appreciate about it:

  • Immediate player control
  • Clear progression and objectives
  • The movement feels great! I love just jumping around!
  • Combat feels tense and ties into mechanics
  • Colorful, atmospheric graphics that aren't in-your-face about being low-res and retro
  • Linux support

These are the building blocks that pretty much every fun game nails--and what a sense of style it has too! Pretty rough around the edges, but extremely solid work for what it is.

Great submission! I noticed some of the wall hitboxes weren't quite keeping the zombies in the right boundaries/triggers but did appreciate the application of the jam's concept.

Delightful!

Thanks for working on this! Looking forward to it :)

Great art & sound, but altogether I thought the controls were not the greatest, having to click all the time to move & kite enemy shots was a little too tough. Still enjoyed giving it a look!

An excellent little autumn game, very effective at using environmental clues as gameplay elements!

Dude shut up

Great implementation of Snake! Very functional--although I wish it played slightly faster (though a slower pace does allow for better planning of inputs).

As a simulation newbie, this has been a great introduction!

This is such an awesome world! Using RPS as the basis for a battle system is really creative.

Great example of a simple gbstudio project! Shows anybody can make something fun. Inspiring me to go make something too.
