Sorry I am very new to itch so I don't know the rules here yet. My intention was to advertise the game like a lot of game studio was doing pre-releasing; post dev log or gameplay clips on youtube before the game is actually out. At first I didn't publish anything I just posted some devlogs on the community but I didn't get any views so I thought I should made a publish. Do you suggest I take the page down then? I really didn't know where else do you suggest to promote a game though, I have tried Twitter, Reddit, Instagram already.

do you think my title is not catchy enough? What kind of names would you consider catchy?

omg your advice are so helpful! I started a twitter account to promote it. i follow a bunch of people who seemed like they'd be interested in the genre and just message them... i hope I'm not being annoying haha

Thank you so much! Is this something you'd be interested in playing?

Thank you so much! I have been trying so hard to promote the game. I have tried reddit, youtube, and instagram but still not getting much views. :'( I guess I need to figure out my target demographics first. What website/platform do you think have users that would like this type of game?

thank you! is this something you'd be interested in playing?

[Game is still under development]

Hi, my name is Kristine, a solo dev for #SpaceChild! This game is for those who love getting transported into an alternative world where you can lead a colorful, challenging yet relaxing second life. In the world of SpaceChild, you play a homeless protagonist where you started out begging on the streets, digging through trashcans, then work your way up until you could afford to live in big, luxurious mansions. You need to keep an eye out on your hunger and hygiene and overall health stats at all time- DO NOT DIE. Talk to random NPCs, become friends or enemies with them, or even lovers! Buy unique, stylized piece of furniture and decorate your own room. If you love games like animal crossing, stardew valley or The Sims, be sure to tune in! This game will take you to a whole new world filled with excitement and endless possibilities.

The game is not out for download yet, but I created a page to advertise it. I put the bio, a game trailer, some screenshots but its getting 0 views. I am new to itch.io so I am not familiar with how long after you publish something people will start seeing it. I am expecting at least 2 or 3 views. Here is the game page: https://y2kspacechild.itch.io/space-child-an-urban-survival-story

Any tips on promoting games, gaining viewers on here that you can share with me? Or should I go to release announcement board?

Hello,

I am building a stylized life simulation/survival game. Similar to animal crossing and The Sims.  I have most of the assets and core features programmed already and I am looking for a programmer who's into the style or the life sim/ survival genre to make this game more complete.

Here is the link to my instagram with some screenshots of the game: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cd7dgqlsSuW/
