Awesome game, art and mechanics were great. A short simple yet enjoyable side-scroller!

This was awesome, the story along with the game play made for a great experience!

Thank you! I've been thinking of starting with HeartBeast! Hopefully one day you'll see something on itch from me!

I think you could definitely hatch out a better game based on the concept in the future!

I just started looking into Godot! Any recommendations for learning?

hello again

I would like to say this game was very intriguing

the game play itself was very simple, and easy to understand! the rooms where incredibly hard for me to manage on my way back to the bed later in the levels!
I think the complicated rooms mixed with repetitive scenery made the game become a bit boring for me later on as I would get lost and not even know how to retrace my steps.
I like the concept of the game, and the altering colors are nice, though I will say the altering colors mixed with the alternating controls do give it a bit of a hectic feel at times.
All in all keep up the grind! I liked your new game and look forward to more!
also what engine do you use?

This is one of my first experiences of itch.io, you had some what appealing design so I thought I'd give it a try!

All my criticism below is with no ill intentions as I obviously would not expect a AAA combat/rpg title on itch.

I think the text you added was nice, but for such a simple game the tutorial aspect I found wasn't needed...

I would say the shop system could use work as I didn't understand prices or what I was getting.

The combat aspect I completely ignored as I found it did nothing for me...

Took me a total of probably 5mins to just run through it first try.

I like what you've done and look forward to future development from you! Keep at it bud!
