Bugs

Game screen should be 1280x720. Jump speed should be on a different layer.

Strengths

Platforms are well-drawn. Character has an idle animation. Small platforms are satisfying to land on.

Weaknesses

Without being able to see the jump speed it is hard to predict how high my next jump will be.

Changes or improvements

Could zoom out to see what is below me so that I can aim for a platform to land on. Could increase horizontal movement speed because it is hard to gain momentum on small platforms.

Bugs

I don't know if this is intentional but the character moves differently when walking to left instead of the right.

Strengths

Level is broken down into sections with different challenges. Has a story as a break from platforming.

Weaknesses

No checkpoints for how long the level is.

Changes or improvements

Could restart the game automatically using a scene change. If the enemies don't move then they could be replaced with environmental hazards.

Bugs

Character rotates when moving. Red collision zones have not been hidden.

Strengths

Room has been drawn well isometrically. Dark room to the right looks ominous.

Weaknesses

There does not seem to be anything that I can interact with.

Add things for player to do.

Bugs

Player appears in front of white rectangles at top but behind black bars.

Strengths

Bullets fire in different directions which forces me to keep moving.

Weaknesses

It is slightly unclear where the character's hurtbox is.

Changes or improvements

The character could be a bit smaller or everything else could be a bit bigger.

Bugs

Wall-jumping before touching ground after vertical dash maintains downward momentum.

Strengths

There are hidden mechanics to discover like wall jumping. The game hints at this by placing them in a walled room with no other way out.

Weaknesses

There is no goal yet.

Changes or improvements

Add an obstacle that requires the vertical dash.
