as for the some words not completely loading, it is done intentionally. i intended on making some parts of scenes as jarring and disorienting as i could through what i could do in ren'py. i apologize if it didn't come across as that <:0c

this game is super cute! the sprites and story is charming and there is a lot of heart! it's a bit confusing how to progress at one once you get to sleep at feni's home, but after prodding around, i was able to figure it out in the end!

i wanted to make a longer story with this, but alas, due to me starting late and having to learn things on the fly, i had to settle with a short and sweet experience <:3 maybe i'd expand on this on a later date :0c

really interesting concept!!
i was a bit lost on what i was supposed to do and how i was supposed to play the game, but i eventually caught on, i think!
some music and a bit more clarity in game would be a good addition; but all in all, great game :D

a super charming game! love the concept of gathering ingredients for sukiyaki, but got stuck when i had to get shiitake; the movement is also a touch too slow for my taste. but all in all, super cute game! :D

a short and charming little game that's got a lot of heart. i positively adore the gimmick of controlling the critters around you to aid you in puzzles and the simple art style!

this game is so charming! the main menu is refreshing to see, especially knowing that this is a vn made in renpy, which comes with a premade title screen that is characteristic to renpy, and the writing is positively adorable! given the short amount of time allotted to the game jam and just how stinkin' adorable everything is it's a great experience, great work!

the web player gets really fucky on chrome and on edge;;; maybe try it out on firefox

it's all good! i'm glad you enjoyed bat and bear!! i don't think i'd be adding to it though, might patch up the dialogue so it may flow better at most. but if people are interested in one, i might make a prequel game/comic to bat and bear where they're in college!

sadly no, i'm not even sure if renpy has the capability to make something for kindles. but i am trying to get an html5 version out, so hopefully you could play!

noted! i'm aware that the pacing and writing isn't perfect, so when i have the energy and time to do another patch, i might go through and do another pass to fix some pacing issues :0

i might add a conversation regarding his size to a prequel vn/comic zine! bear (as of the visual novel) is pretty comfortable and rather confident in his body, but during his college years, he was most definitely not as confident as he is now!
