I have chronic pain, so I really related to Vinegar. I agreed with what they said - that it's hard sometimes to see a reason to keep going when every day is spent in so much pain. It is a scary thing to say, but it's how a lot of us with chronic conditions feel. And I had to stop taking medication due to side effects before as well. Which hell is worse? It's so hard to say. Thank you for this little story, it made me feel a bit more seen.

Afamilial, oh my god. I'm aroace and... I may be afamilial too. I never subscribed to or even understood those ideals. I just tied it to my being autistic, and maybe it is, but it's still comforting to hear someone else that feels similarly.
