Thanks for the feedback! There probably has been a bit of inconsistency in how we write that stuff, so we might look at what else we can do with how straight characters engage with other women. What do you think you would have liked to happen in those scenes?
To answer that last question, there are plans/ideas for all girl group encounters, and one committed polycule with two other girls. Not implemented in the game yet though.
It's not exactly that clear cut with the categories I don't think. I think most scenes would be accessible regardless of dom/sub preference, we would only be gating a few specific paths not a quarter of the game each. If I may ask, what sort of choices would you like to be seeing in the nsfw scenes? If you think what we have so far has been limited I'd love to expand the possibilities.
So in terms of group encounters; the one scene that does exist is if you go clubbing with Gia you can pick up two guys. That's a one off event. We don't have any actual committed polyamorous relationships yet (we don't have any commited monogamous relationhips yet either) but there are plans to develop some relationships that way.
We have a fairly solid plot outline and scene list for about the first year of the story, and a big brainstorm cloud of ideas for where to continue from there. Plans always open to change though.
There's a lot of sorority politics, Terri will continue causing trouble. There'll be opportunities to explore deeper romantic connections with some characters, either explusively or polyamorously, though it is always possible to stay single. If you're on the Max casual dating path, he will eventually want to define the relationship. Soraya is coming back, her exit disappointed some people so I always assure now that we're not done with her, and she'll get the chance to overcome her shyness a bit.
I think the kind of sex scenes we already have in the game largely set the tone for how the nsfw side plays out, though we are holding back some stuff. For example we have plans for some heavier bdsm content which we're holding for when a stronger and more trusting relationship has been laid down (though you can start building the foundations for those by domming Max or subbing for Alissa in the current scenes). And those poly-ships I mentioned open the door for group encounters, of which we currently only have one.
I'm pretty bad at guessing how long writing is going to take so I'd rather not guess. I promise the game is still being worked on though. End of August is possible but it might be longer.
Not on hold, we're working on the next scenes. The ideas we had for the final initiation into Zeta have turned out longer and more complicated than expected so it's taking a while. New release may not be soon, but the game is being worked on.
I haven't had that reported as a bug before. The portraits aren't appearing over the dialogue I'm guessing? Is there an error message or are they just not there?
You're not committed. There is no choice in the current version to be officially committed at this stage. Max's friends are just excited it's his first relationship of any kind.
If it's not clear I might add some qualifiers to those scenes in the next version.
We've been talking about whether or not we should allow cheating if you enter an exclusive relationship. There seems to be interest in that so probably it will be an option.
