Thanks for asking! I was working as a teacher at the time, and this game and a number of others were developed live for students. They're mostly demonstrations of game development concepts and ideas, so while the game may not be as good as a commercial product, it serves as a helpful prototype for students to reference!
Thanks for the feedback, VaccinatedAlmonds! Lead developer here. I'm watching through your VoD, and I hope to catch your stream next time.
- The Trojan issue seems to be affecting other Unity projects as well. It might be related to global install count. I'm looking into solutions, but you have my word that it isn't malware!
- Looks like you've got the objective and the gameplay loop down pat! Perhaps another on-screen prompt may help more players. I'll keep studying and talk it over with Swanky.
- Lil' Jacks don't attach to you randomly, and you figured that out.
- PJ is predictable as well. Don't forget: dead ends and walls are optional in this maze. EDIT: Looks like you figured that out near the end of the VoD! Now, why is he always running towards you?
EDIT2: Finished the VoD! An entertaining watch, and thanks again for the critique. Some great thoughts at the end for balancing, too. Look forward to the next build!
