so i remember coming across artificial selection on the lemma soft forums and playing a much earlier demo of it all the way back in 2017.. i really enjoyed it back then, and i've found myself thinking about it from time to time over the years, so i was happy to see it's still in development and looking better than ever! i had so much fun playing this version of the demo - i'm really liking most of the characters (maesol is probably my favourite as of right now and i'm loving watching her defrost, but i'm also curious about diven's whole... thing), the escape room puzzles are satisfying to figure out, and the set up and plot are really intriguing! as a big fan of games like zero escape, danganronpa, and your turn to die, this is definitely reminding me of them in all the best ways.

apart from that, i'm also enjoying the worldbuilding and how naturally all the little details about the futuristic setting are slipped in! it's cool to see how the characters' mindsets have been shaped by their society and its view on crime and punishment, and i'm definitely curious to find out more about how this game slots into their justice system.

finally, i just wanted to say that the art, ui, presentation, and colour palette are all really slick, and the game just overall looks great so far! keep up the amazing work!!

really enjoyed this little game! as a fan of any and all mystery media, the ace attorney-like feeling was comfortingly familiar, and i also liked how the characters were very aware of the similarities of their situation to murder on the orient express. while the main mystery was pretty simple, i didn't see that last twist coming and it makes me hope there'll be a sequel someday!

really enjoyed this demo! susan and hank's banter was a lot of fun, as was reading all the conversations on nicky's computer - i loved seeing every charater's unique voice, even the ones who weren't present in person. the set up is definitely intriguing and i'm curious about how all of the mysteries introduced in the demo will unfold. looking forward to the full game!
