Also, an artist can be an expensive endeavor, but I think you can probably get a lot of creative commons works that you can use. Games like cairn 1e only have that kind of art, and they look really good.TBH, my biggest worry if I were you, would be to not burnout and just keep working on the game, making games should be fun not only for the people playing them but the people making them.

My only grip is that this game didnt have a subway surfers video on the bottom half and a family guy clip on the upper half. /s

Ok so, I am gonna be real with you chief. Ignoring the whole irony of using AI art on an anticapitalist game. I think the game would flow better if you simplify some stuff. I am not an expert game designer, but maybe cutting back on the pages of AI art and making it a one page RPG would make it a lot better. Not only that, but I also think the game could be easily improved by cutting a lot of the classes or explaining the mechanics better. I know we give 5e a lot of heat, but it's a really popular game not only for its brand recognition, but because it's a really well  layed out game. You also rely too much on people knowing mechanics from other games instead of building up your own.

Look, you got a good concept for a game, but you should really try to make one thing work well in a game jam instead of being a jack of all trades but a master of none.  Having read the game, I just think it really doesn't hold up well enough to be played. This is just a recommendation, and you can ignore it as much as you want, but you should study what makes a good jam game work. Look at stuff like crashing pandas or the last tea shop. Or heck, look at some video games from other jams like the winners from GMTK.

Sorry If I am being extremely harsh, but you really got a solid foundation here, I like the dice mechanics and the setting. And seeing it's your first jam work I think you should be proud, you made a game and that's a big achievement, most people don't even get to that. I know it might contradict what I said earlier but I actually want to see more of your work, if you are able to flesh out this game later or make even more games I would love to see them. First games Always are kind of weird and amateurish(which I think is what makes them unique) and you got a good game if you polish some stuff

(Also, no art, public domain or really simple art is always better than weird anime looking AI )

Hello, I just wanted to ask something. So I know that under the licence I can print it and make money off the game. But here in Argentina, there are almost no solo RPGs. So with a local gaming shop we wanted to print the game, give classes on solo RPGs and sell it for the cheapest price possible. Not to make a quick buck, as we would make next to money(as we would sell it for literal pennies) but to spread the culture of indie and solo RPGs.

I was wondering if we had your approval to do that.

I haven't finished it yet but the artstyle is pretty charming and I love that the game was made on godot.

- Something wizard of oz themed(I really like the aesthetic)

I really liked the manual, its short but really easy to play. My only complain would be that there is maybe too many chances to fail and maybe there should be more options. Something like 1 complete fail, 2-3 parcial fail, 4-5 parcial success and 6 success. But I get that it can be pretty unfair so I undestand why you didnt do that. Anyways it was a pretty fun game so thanks for making it

I found it really funny, the visuals are good, the story is pretty dynamic and  fun and the music was surprisingly good and really fitted the atmosphere of the game. Overall, a great game. It really is a shame this game did not garner more attention. I would love to see a sequel where you get to see the play. 

I really liked the twist, and the sound ambience was also pretty good. I really felt like I was on a hot summer night waiting on a bus stop.

yeah, I know it kinda became confusing after a while even for me. We should have probably put the girl a name at the start of the game and maybe add a few more expressions to the character.I think that maybe we should have make them have more personality but nontheless I am happy I made a game

well, I am sure you could get an artist somewhere down the line. The game is still great as it is

Look, I really liked the art and the story is alright but there are some things you have to fix, the random encounters are tedious, the bosses are overpowered, the enemies are really easy to beat, there is no health bar for the enemies and the game just isn´t a lot of fun. Despite all this I think if you tweak some stuff around you could have a great game so keep developing and I will play it once it´s finish. I am sure it wil be great

Personally I liked it but I wished there had been a backlog or a return button as I accidentally skipped a few scenes.  Also I found so much text overwhelming, it was basically just reading a terminal the whole time and even though I know that is the intention, I wished that maybe each text shown would be a  few lines long making it for an easier read, like a visual novel. 

Despite my criticisms I found it interesting and I  hope to see more from you 

To  be or not the be, that is thy question. Is it better on the mind to be forgotten or to live in infamy as a sock ?

Yeah, the game has some issues in that regard. We kinda rushed the game and there are some issues in there but I am glad you enjoyed it

Strawberry Shortcake is a short visual novel where you take the place of a girl who just got stood up by her crush and has a nice talk with a stranger over a strawberry shortcake.

We made it on a few days for the strawberry to the heart jam and we hope you like it.

Hey, I liked the game. I played the first two levels and I personally liked it. I think that maybe you should make the skull fall faster when it´s in a non movable part as it gets kinda tedious having to wait for it to roll all the way back .
