that's fax, updated it to be a bit brighter and added some additional content if you're interested 

The FOV distortion was definitely something I wasn't sure about adding but decided to in the end to make the gameplay feel more dynamic and fast. Greatly reduced it now (basically only starts to warp a bit when dashing and quickfalling) and also added some new content if you want to check it out 

Man I gave up after I saw the ice cream truck, didn't even know there was a grandma in the game 

This game combines 2 of my favorite things: gambling and animal abuse.

I really liked the combination of a 1 bit artstyle with the soft moving background

They just dont make games like this no more

The game doesnt go into fullscreen properly, can't get it to work.

Most underrated game in the entire jam

I loved the  visuals and level design (baby rats were a nice touch), but the knights' colliders/kill ranges or whatever were way too big, I died multiple times because I tried to sneak past one and got killed from coming too close, even if I was undetected.

Never knew this type of genre, whatever it's called, could be challenging

Not a fan of 4 directional combat, 2 directional combat is insane

Not enough rats, combat is quite smooth though

5 stars on theme because new york city map

Very cool game, although pressing ESC should give you a warning before resetting your progress, had to replay the entire game because I accidently pressed it right after killing all the rats

ermmmmmmmm... technically those rats are spinning vertically. embarassing!

2 player, so couldn't play personally (no friends), but the controls feel pretty good so I imagine it'd be fun

Genuinely had a mental breakdown after seeing what happened to the woman of my dreams.

Interesting concept but the switching is too common and the music gets annoying very fast, I liked the platforming and style though.

Main menu theme rivals the likes of Mozart

Life-changing experience, I wish there were more cinematic cutscenes though

Thanks for the feedback! I am currently working on a tower leveling system that'll make money much more useful endgame (every level will double the price of upgrades). With this system I will hopefully be able to get away with a much higher difficulty curve so the game was properly playable longer. (Performance update is not promised but I'll try to do that too)
