Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't have any current plans for multiplayer but I'm open to it if there is a demand.

I know this happens from time to time but it's equally likely to happen to either team. AI for the opening rush is certainly something that can be tweaked.

Thanks for your comment. I would be willing to implement this if there is a demand for it.

I'm still looking for feedback on league features.

This is a great concept. It's  hard to master the controls but very satisfying. How do you clear the third stage when there are no platforms to grapple?

Thanks! It was (mostly) fun to make :P

First off I created a new topic as my last topic was auto-archived and this is in relation to a new update.

I have just updated my dodgeball game, adding an expansive League mode, tightening up some game mechanics, fixing issues and responding to earlier feedback. The game is completely free and available to play in the browser with WebGL. It is a single-player game; Gamepad and Keyboard/Mouse are supported.

I'm looking for feedback on the League system, player and team customization, and roster management in particular. Let me know of any areas that need clarification. I'm planning to write some documentation or a manual to help new players.

Any feedback or suggestion would be helpful (Game, page, etc). I'd be happy to answer questions about the game and how systems are implemented. I'm happy to provide feedback in kind which has worked well in the past!

I am excited to announce that Dodgeball Championship League is out of development and into full release with the latest update.

The game features exhibition mode for those who want to jump straight into the physics based 6v6 dodgeball action. As of today's release, League Mode will let you manage a team and advance through the ranks of four different cups from Bronze to Platinum. Customize every aspect of your team from logo to uniforms. Edit your players with custom names, numbers, and equipment.

Build your team through trades, free agency, and a yearly draft. Train your players' attributes or treat their injuries. Play out every match or simulate and focus on building your roster.

The game is single player and supports gamepad or keyboard and mouse with input binding to suit your play style.

This is a solo project and my first game release. I would greatly appreciate your feedback and comments!

The visuals and sound design are nice. everything fits well together with the UI and feels right.

The game is challenging. From my perspective, too challenging from the start. I would suggest starting out easier and gradually increasing the difficulty.

Fun game; the robber is a great motivator for the player to keep going. The music has a nice classic game feel and is varied enough to keep it interesting.

I found that the down pointing arrow obstacles from above didn't seem to work and I was able to safely ignore them. The controls are simple and obvious but it wouldn't hurt to include them in the description. Turning took me a while to master since tapping the direction isn't always enough. I realized it was best to hold the direction key and then I was fine. I did experience the issue where the tile I was standing on disappeared just after a turn.

Thank you for the feedback. That gives me two actionable items I can improve. I had a plan for arrows in team selection so that's definitely in. Do you think color coding the match history would help? I could also have it scrollable post-game.

I will certainly return the favor and look forward to playing your games!

The punch mechanic with disconnecting arms is very creative and well done. If you take this further, an option for AI opponents and teammates would be great.

I have just updated my dodgeball game, adding team selection for exhibition mode, expanded options, and gameplay fixes/improvements. The game is completely free and available to play in the browser with WebGL. Gamepad and Keyboard/Mouse are supported.

I'm looking for feedback before I finish development on the league system and full release (likely this year). This is my first game and I'm having trouble getting more than a few plays here and there, with no comments or reviews to this point.

Any feedback or suggestion would be helpful (Game, page, etc). I'd be happy to answer questions about the game and how systems are implemented.
