I think this game is brilliant. I enjoyed it a lot and loved the atmosphere, the system, and the design. It's the second time I've reached level 25. Maybe I was lucky with the talents.

I have some tips to improve the game:

  • The talent chooser after the night could have a tooltip. Currently, the cursor selects the element behind the talent. I would like to have more information about the talent in the right description place, such as how much effect I can obtain by selecting it. Additionally, I would like more specific information about the numbers on the talent. For example, what does "bigger health+dmg for warriors talents" mean? Is it +50%? +100%? 2×?
  • Healers have a slow heal orb. I noticed that my building or soldier died before the healers could heal them. It seems a bit awkward and painful to watch my soldiers dying in the healers' hands. I think it would be better to heal the target instantly instead of using the projectile orb. You could add a circle or light effect on the target that received the heal.
  • I don't like the talent that swaps the healers into mages. It feels like I lost an ability. It's only my opinion, but I think it could be better if you could add a "+fire mage / night" talent instead of converting all the healers. This way, you could have healers and mages simultaneously. Alternatively, healers could heal in an area around the target, and this area could burn the enemy inside it (with this talent). This way, it feels like you gain a better ability instead of losing a good one.
  • Placing buildings was a little uncomfortable. I didn't always feel how it works. It feels like the map is a big table, but I don't sense where the columns are.
  • There is space for some statistics on the right panel. I would like to know how much gold I can get after the night.

But I think this is a good game. Nice job! :D

Thank you! Your suggestions are very helpful. I will definitely consider them!

Could you share what your favorite part of this game was? I truly want to retain the fun factor while creating a better version.

Hi! Thank you for the review; it was useful and meant a lot to me! I agree that there are many things I need to rebalance and polish. However, it was a good experience for me. I have a lot of plans to make this game better, but it requires a lot of changes. I think I will leave this game as it is and create a second episode. This game can provide hours of fun for people who enjoy it.

Awesome! 700+ gem find? :D This is beyond the end game!

Satisfying loot :D. With a 250% gem find, you have a chance to get 3 gems. Maybe I should add an auto-sell mechanis,.

Very nice! My personal best was only about level 250.

Hi! I've uploaded a new version. You can set a cheat code in the settings menu to adjust your character's level to 475. However, you'll need to refresh the page after you do it; there's a bug I couldn't fix yet. Your code is "trul475." Yes, I know anyone can see and use this to override their progress, but I've created it exclusively for you.

I am really sorry. That is very impressive you went so far. I will create a cheat code for you, so you can start at level 475. It will be handy for me too for testing.

If you've lost your save entirely and you've played a lot, I can try to create a cheat code to start at a specific game state just for you. Please tell me what progress details you remember (such as level, resources, etc.).

The save is stored on the browser localstorage. Did you open it with the same browser?

No, it should not do that, I tested. Did you start at the level 1?

Some gems provide the same stat at every level, such as the green gem (20% crit chance). Others scale based on their level, like the blue gem (X health points). If you already have four gems with crit chance, you can shatter the highest-level one for more shards. When you have an excess of blue gems, you should sell the lower-level ones so you can keep the highest-value gem for the blue socketed weapons.

Later on, I will refactor this system, and all gems will scale based on their level. It seems to be a better approach.

It's a big change, I wish you courage and luck!

Very lovely. The characters, and the story. :) Enjoyed every minutes.

At the start of the game, it randomizes two tracks for you. These were part of a humble pack a long time ago, so I'm not sure, but I found the same song on SoundCloud and on the Unity Asset Store: "Muz Station Production" or "MuzStation Game Music" : "Medieval Adventure Ancient". I use Medieval Track #1 and #2.

I like them as well; they fit perfectly, have a good mood, and create a relaxing atmosphere for idling.

Correct. The bottom navigation buttons can navigate you out of the setting screen. I will put a back button or something. Thank you!
