In classic fashion, the universe has delivered several things to deal with all at once.

My car, which I need for work in pedestrian unfriendly northwestern Ontario, needs $2000 worth of exhaust repairs. I am undergoing autism assessment which is not fully covered by insurance (need about $800), and a cat-related furniture toppling put a hole in my TV screen, so now I need a new one. 

As an underemployed disabled person, that’s a whole lot to deal with that my meager savings won’t fully cover.
