Hi, I'm new to this game and I don't know what I'm really doing, I'm on Mac

I downloaded the game and every time I run the jar. file it crashes and a report shows up

Which version of the game are you using, the .jar, or the MacOS one? I just ran the MacOS version on my 2014 macbook pro and it's running fine, the initial application wasn't working, so I had to open the 'package contents' 'contents' 'resources' then run the .jar from there. I hope it helps, let me know if it doesn't.

Im currently using the java thats up to date, the newest version of the game and I'm on MacOS Mojave

every time i try to run the .jar it crashes
