Researcher, looking for independent game devs (preferably based outside the US/UK) to participate in a study about cultural divergence in indie game communities

Hi! Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this - I would have asked a moderator about it, but there's no private messaging system and I wasn't sure how active the moderators are here.

I've been lurking around itch.io for a bit, and other game developer communities, and the national diversity among creators gave me an idea. For my business course at university, we've been asked to do a research project, and for mine I've chosen to study cultural divergence among independent game developers; what this means is, I want to know how game developers - preferably based outside the Anglo-American sphere - are informed by their national culture, and if there's a correlation between them and others from the same culture, or if they correlate more with those of other cultures instead.

What I want to do is run a short survey (5-10 minutes at the absolute most), in which participants are asked what they feel are their key priorities in both playing games and developing them for commercial use, and then how they perceive their current nation of residence would answer the same questions. I won't accept responses from anyone under 18, because respondents must provide informed consent in order to allow their responses to be used in the study; respondents are kept anonymous and are not expected to provide any information that could identify them specifically, and the study will only use responses gotten from the survey and nothing else - so nothing else in this thread that could be traced will be taken into account.

I would post the link below, but I want a moderator to look this over to see if this is acceptable first, since I'm not sure if this is technically against the rules or not. I'll accept whatever ruling they give (I've already conducted it in other forums, so it's not essential to the project that I conduct it here too). Thanks for reading - if it's okayed, I'll edit this post (or just make another one with the link to the survey if editing isn't possible).

EDIT: And approval received, so here be the survey: https://forms.gle/J8eDuX8Bu5hyysGf8

We've had requests like that before, often with fewer up-front explanations. It's probably all right. Go ahead and post your link. And good luck! Can we see the results afterwards?

Thanks! I think I've set it up so you can see the results after submitting, but I'll need to double-check. If that doesn't work, I can share them here afterwards, definitely!

Just done! Good luck with the research!

Thanks! I'm still gonna be running this for at least another week, maybe more.

Update: I know I said I'd run this for another week, but I may have to close responses tomorrow! So get in while you still can (if you want to, obviously). : P
