Android preview and donation version the same.

Looks like the same apk was added to both download links, and the donation does not allow any more than dressing up.

I'm sure the confusion might be with the new menu, you'll need to scroll up to see the scene selection option.

Sorry for the confusion.

Please note many menus are scrollable but i've been having not a great time communicating that.

I'm having the same issue with them being the same. Certain customization options are empty, and when I go to download it, both say preview.apk. please fix this, I'm kinda stuck to only using my android so if this can be resolved quickly I'd be super happy. If you can send me an email to follow up, that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry if this is a bit confusing, currently at this moment the donation version and public version are the same.

Because I release on all platforms making separate versions would double the workload thats already very difficult to manage. So when I do the rare public release (9 months ago for Windows, almost 2 years for other platforms) I just release the current build.

But thats for this, this "Preview" version, soon the game will just be "Our Apartment" and there will be a demo as a final public release.

So yes the APK currently is "Our Apartment Preview", thats because the build isn't in the proper format yet, come February I think, the structure of the game will change entirely to include story and the daily system.

I hope this clears things, the former issue in the OP was likely just not noticing the main menu scrolled.

Ah okay, that does indeed clear things up. Thank you for being so quick with responding.

Thanks for the post, I bought it because I thought I wouls get a better game. Does that mean that I will always be able to download a new version or will I have to pay for it again?

You will always be able to download the latest version. FYI though the price will increase at some point and I don't know if itch will simply give people who paid $5 the game or if I increase the price to $10 will people need to pay an additional $5.

Either way you won't lose out too much paying now.

FYI though next update will be a very different game. Current release was based on the previous donation release rather than current development path.

Check some of the blog updates on the itch page to see more about that.
