When you give a weapon to blacksmith, you can't take it back (it's happened after inventory update)
Fish knows about it, it's related to the size. If you shrink the item to gain juice (everyone does it), it makes it difficult to pick-up.
Gotta be close enough to grab it.
I had to push up against Hoagen to get my nano baseball bat back.
