Everytime I try to launch the game, Oculus software boots up and the game starts in VR. I would like to play it outside of VR, but have no idea how to do that. Can somebody help me?

Try running the game through a sandbox. Sandboxie-Plus seems like a good choice for Windows systems: https://github.com/sandboxie-plus/Sandboxie/releases/tag/v0.5.0

If Sandboxie doesn’t work, let me know and I’ll try to find a better alternative for you.

Sandboxes create an isolated environment that won’t interact with other programs you have installed on the machine.

This is an extreme solution but it should work temporarily (until the developer responds).
