Hi all,

I'm currently working on an open-source game called Mazerator, the source code is available at github.com/MazeratorGame/Mazerator (name "Mazerator" for organizations/users was already taken). This game is about going through a maze, fighting monsters, sent by the good guy/superhero Mazerator (hence the name), who also made the mazes. At first launch, there will be 3 levels and at the end, there will be a boss fight against Mazerator. I would also like to have multiplayer eventually. I would like:

  • An Art designer for mazes (must use blender)
  • An art designer for monsters and Mazertor (must use blender)
  • An art designer to design the city in the final boss fight (must use blender) (already taken)
  • An art designer to work on animating
  • A programmer to optimise code
  • A programmer to program monsters and final boss fight

If you want to directly work with me, please reply to this with your GitHub account and I'll add you to the team. If you want to work on the game, but don't want to directly work with me or the positions are already taken, then you can still fork the project and use pull requests.

Payment: You will NOT get any payment, as it's open-source and I haven't set up a donation option

Sure, what do you want to design?

So you can make the boss fight city and I would like the design to be a semi-realistic city. Is that OK? Also, what is your GitHub username so I can add you to the organisation?

I've invited you to the organisation!

Can you please contact me on discord?

Do you have any need for a composer? I am also able to optimize code.

My experience with programming is mostly limited to 2D games so it may take me a hot second to brush up.

I'd like a composer, I have made 3 bits of music myself, but I wouldn't call myself professional. I don't mind if you only know how to program 2D games. Can you please contact me on discord?
