Where are my views coming from?

I just posted the "game" Rick Russian Roulette here on Feb. 15, and my views have been rapidly increasing since then.

At first I got a lot of views from the new games section, but it is not new anymore. Today I am getting a ton of views from the homepage, itch.io. How is that possible? My game isn't featured, and I can't even find it on the home page.

I posted two other games here, and once they were gone from the new section they received zero views.

It probably shows up there on and off. It's also possible that it's not shown to you, but just as a recommendation to other people.

Ive noticed that discord does not show up on the referrer list and shows up as itch.io instead. Have you posted to any discord groups?

I love itchio analytics because it's always fascinating to find out where your views are coming from. Recently, we've had a load of views from obscure Chinese and French sites and I wonder if they get disappointed because our games are only in English.

With that in mind, is it likely that a lot of people type 'Russian' into search- and that's where some of your views are coming from?
