I think the photo you use is a colored page from one of the rwby mangas, I'm not entirely sure, however.

This seems like a really cool concept, but the format that you have for the pages makes most of it almost illegible due to the background image on each page being too dark for a black font to be legible, especially with it being a stylized one that you use in some instances. 

If you could increase the opacity of the box the text is so that it's a more solid background, then that would this issue.
