[SOLVED] Choppy audio on Windows 10 (bitrate / sample rate problems?)

Hello, thank you for MasterPlan, it's a super neat piece of software!

My issue is that I can't get sounds to play smoothly. I'm on a decently powered Windows 10 desktop PC but I can't get MasterPlan's audio playback to be smooth.

I have tried different Bitrate settings in the program, but all of them are choppy - although 22050 sounds best and higher values get worse.

I saw older posts mentioning buffer size, but I don't have access to that as a setting in the program. Is this a bug in itself? Or is that no longer an option? I remember changing buffer size with other audio programs in the past has fixed similar problems, but that was a while ago.

I tried the itch and steam versions, as well as some compatibility settings, but no luck. To be clear, this problem is for all sounds in MasterPlan, including timer completions.

Hello! Thank you very much, I appreciate that you're liking MP so far. Audio playback wasn't that bad until the last update; that broke resampling somewhat. I'm working on fixing it for the next update, which is mostly QoL / bugfixes. Thanks for letting me know, nonetheless!

OK that's great, good to know. Thank you for your hard work!

Thanks, just noticed it is fixed! I’ve got no excuse left for not click on the buy button anymore :D

Fantastic to hear it's been fixed! I'll mark this as resolved, then~
