While I love the font for the actual editor, I hate the font the preview/output uses. Is there any chance we can get the option to change it/import our own?
Update: Preview font selection added in v0.22.0: https://billiam.itch.io/deepdwn/devlog/246210/v0220-preferences-revamp-preview-fonts-bug-fixes
I hadn’t planned on adding a separate font size adjustment, instead of whole-app zooming, though that may change.
My feeling on this is: If the font size is too small by default, it’s going to be too small everywhere: in application panels, in dialogs, in tooltips, and so on.
I can increase font sizes, but either UI elements are going to increase in size to accommodate that (essentially what zooming does), or text will overflow those elements, which is awful.
Are you using a custom font with odd size metrics, so that it appears smaller than the default UI font?
Are you using a custom font in the editor, preview, or both? Which font?
Thanks for your quick response. I’d love to be able to adjust the font size only in the editing area (it is possible in Typora and other Markdown editors), and I thought this might be quickly/easily to develop for you. Anyweay, as it seems, no other users wish for a bigger or smaller font size, so … too bad for me.
So, this is a place where Deepdwn is not great, but it was added to at least make custom font selection possible.
The font name used in this case is likely just ‘Neuton’ (it was for me after installing the font from Google Fonts). I don’t believe capitalization matters.
A future update should make a proper font list available, or a better search, but I don’t know when that will be.
