Is there a mod to change starting new game character stats? Like being able to max out a characters starting spendable points?

I've not heard of any mods specifically doing that. It sounds like something the Protagonist mod would do, but that mod is outdated an may not work with the current version of the game.

thanks found that after a couple of hours, using it now starts new char with solid 10 stats. would have been nice to have my starting companion also at 10's but oh well :)

I've used the consend mod for it but it can only make your stats to max. Other peoples stats are only to their potentially max and first if they achive rank 2

Just realized there was a section on main menu for Constants mod yesterday, the Standard Main Protagonist Rebooted mod sets all main character stats to 10's with no bonus spending points, I have to experiment between the two to see how each works.
