This diversifiers are completly optional and you can chose to use them or not, take them literally or just as sugestions for your brainstoming, it will not modify the posibility of having your game showcased.
Mow that lawn!: include a lawnmower in you game, use it to progress, as an enemy, as your logo
One for all: Use only une button for everything in your game, jump: button1, talk: button1, speed: button1, jam: button1
All for one: Use more than 8 buttons (without counting directionals) for your game controllers.
Sounds so natural!: Music? sound? all made with daily items (bonus points if you only use your body, clap, scream, whistle, etc.)
Lost in the maze: Use variable controls for the same action.
Arts and crafts: Work with traditional techniques for the art of your game (it can be all or part of the art) draw something, use collage, take pictures, film your dog… go wild!
Progress Lost: use the theme in reverse, let the player lose progress to achieve victory.
Hide your eggs: get in tuch with other jammers and include something from other games (the more the merrier) into your game, a sound, a sprite, a level design, anything!
Switch roles: During the jam, try to learn a new trade, switch roles with other team members and try to teach each other.
