I am running Linux Mint 18.1 and just downloaded this game. I extracted the files to a folder in my home directory made the Autonauts.x86_64 executable and ran it. Everything seemed fine and the game loaded. Unfortunately it seems that after loading up all controls work other than the right and left mouse clicks. I tried changing the input settings but couldn't get it to work. I also tried this on the 32 bit version. Hope this helps. 

Yep, this is a known bug in Linux full screen. We'll be fixing it soon but for now jjust try it in a window. Thanks

solve it by using the itch app to load it. and plug in your mouse.
