Patch notes

Hi everyone! As promised, we have been working on implementing some of the missing features in a new version of the game. This new version will potentially receive more updates in the future. We will refer to it as "the full version" from now on. The jam version will always be downloadable and is currently still the web version, but after Ludum Dare 48 is over, the full version will replace the jam version on web. Until then, the full version will only be accessible through downloading.

Changelog
  • Guards and robbers! Guards and robber bees have been implemented! You can find out more about them in the official guide.
Hud Updates

We have updated some of the HUD elements following your feedback. The changes are as follow:

  • Bee buttons now have a label showing the type of bee. There are also tooltips with hints when hovering the buttons!
  • Some elements inside the settings/pause menus now also have tooltips.
  • Bee counters are centered better.
  • You can show or hide the bee counters above the buttons with the help of a new button.
  • The number of current splits can now also be seen under the pollen and honey counters.
  • There is also a new button to show which conditions need to be met before you can split.
  • There is now a progress bar over each active brood cell telling you when those babies will be ready to hatch!

Some other things here and there have also been polished slightly. Here are some of them!

  •  Ghosty ghost-bee: When bees die, a little ghost appears.
  • "The outside" now changes during winter!
  • More sound effects and j u i c e!
  • You can toggle full screen by pressing F12 or alt + enter :)

We hope you will enjoy this new update! Thank you for your feedback and support. Bugs can be reported here
