Mac version files [potential spoilers]

I was wondering, are files supposed to be changing as the game progresses when I go into "check package contents"? Because the game will occasionally mention that a file was deleted or changed, or that I should check a file, but when I go to check package contents, all the cr files are there, and the trackback file is just missing, as though the files are not being visibly updated. I am wondering if it has to do with the was macs function with their file system or if that particular feature just does not work on the mac version.

The important Mac files are in the Resources/autorun folder. So it would be "Show package contents" -> Resources -> autorun.

I'm aware, but when I go there, the contents do not change, even though, from what I understand, changes should be occurring to what files are present.  For example it seems that after clearing my first route, Sayori's file remains unchanged in the autorun/character folder. And the traceback or whatever it was called file is not present at all within that folder. (though when errors occur within game I am able to open the txt file through the button in the game)

Did you ever get any initial error when starting up the game? You have to make sure the game resides in an area that isn't read-only, such as your desktop. I've heard some Mac users were getting read-only related errors, and copying the game to desktop or re-downloading it helped fix the issue.

This might be it, I was playing the game from my downloads folder, so I will test this out.

It didnt work

I just showes the icon file
