Why is the price in the stream cheaper than buying the beta?

Why is the price in the Steam cheaper than buying the beta? I don't know if beta buyers get more than people who buy in the stream, so I can't see what's more special. Now I am very disappointed and sad about the money I paid because the price difference is so big.

The beta has always been more expensive because kickstarter backers had to pay more for early access. And also itch.io doesn't have regional pricing, which could possibly affect you too.

When did you buy it and what's your email? If it was in the last, like, few days, before we lowered the price, I could refund you the difference.

I bought the game through Itch 25 usd on May 18th and it's currently selling on Steam for around 7.9 usd. How should I feel about it. Is the price too different? mad2minnions@gmail.com This is my mail. I hope I can get compensation from you.

I think it was mentioned in FAQ that actual release version is cheaper and the beta version is to match kickstarter backers pricing but I also noted it was weird because usually, it should be cheaper for beta version as it's practically incomplete as compared to official version. Hence, I patiently waited for few years for it to be out of beta. Pleasantly surprised that there's a discount offer to for steam version.

Can I buy the game for a higher price? I discovered it only now and I like it a lot so I want to support devs.

Yeah, you can pay as much as you want on itch
