Hi, I really love this game but I was wondering about the rainbow objects I have found in this game. When I am playing the game (in deaf mode) I have twice seen a rainbow object, similar to the door except it's been a piece of furniture (first time it was a table and chairs, second time it was a couch). Whenever I look at it, the eye opens and is filled with rainbow colors, and when I look away it closes again. What purpose do these objects serve?

Hello, I’m glad you liked backrooms. Those are escape objects and there is only one in each play. Whenever you get close to them, the game finishes.

The eye turns colorful so that you can know the direction of them when you get close to the finish. (mostly useful in classic mode, but I kept it in deaf mode as well)
