Not just a comic, but a lot to think (and feel) about...
Different perspectives – A highly explosive topic, especially in today’s times! Can we perceive other perspectives and can we also understand or even accept them from these other viewpoints?
In this time of change, we naturally grow apart. Some prefer one side and view of the world, perhaps wanting everything as it has always been. Others want to experience the Great Change now. This change always happens first within ourselves. When we evolve, we also change the world.
For me, this means first of all that we can also allow other points of view. To be honest, I’m not a great expert in this either. Sometimes it’s really hard for me when someone has a completely different view of things. I then try as hard as I can. I become aware of this other perspective, try to empathise with it.
Sometimes, it takes a bit of time to think about it or work through it internally until I can fathom it more. You might also need a little time for my comic app. It’s not meant for quick perusal.
Maybe that’s why you only like to read one comic dialogue a day. They are not long, maybe you need five or six minutes per episode.
I hope that with this app I can show new perspectives of life and thinking and belief, or at least bring more clarity to one or the other perspective of thinking and feeling.
I developed my comic app “WE ARE” for Android phones and tablets and for Windows (free download for Android: in the Play Store, for Windows: on itch.io).
First, I just wrote the dialogues as articles in my blog. But when reading these texts, it is always a bit difficult to keep the constellation of the different characters in mind.
In the comic, everything becomes much clearer and more understandable because we assign symbolic images to the respective characters. I would have loved to carefully draw new poses and facial expressions, but I didn’t have the time. The symbols are enough for a better understanding.
Just enough. Sometimes we don’t need graphic clutter and ballast and can concentrate on what is really important. For me, this is art and a way of life that is very good for our planet Gaia.
