Oh, yes, we unfortunately can't do anything to remove that. We had to set a price, or else the files would be free for anyone to download. As far as we're aware, there's no way to set the files so that only Patrons can ever download them, so unless itch.io gets an update, there's nothing we can do about that.
no i read it. and to be honest you are losing customers with the way you are selling your product. Just saying. Itch.o is a place to sell your existing product and to be honest and blunt you placing a fake product out there is what will make it seem like it is a scam to others. Now I am not saying your novels are bad hec they look great but I am just saying the way you are putting it out there is bad. Like BAD!

While it's unfortunate that you were confused by the page and may be upset by it, please be careful about making false accusations.
The page is labelled clearly as for Patrons, and we've already explained why it's set up the way it is in the comment chain above. We can only work with the tools provided by itch.io on itch.io; we can't simply import our own. The Patreon implementation feature is only a few days old and will likely be improved upon, but in the meantime, we can only work with what we're provided.
It's wonderful that you're so passionate about games and good sales practices, but we appreciate the support from our Patrons, and so providing them with the most convenient ways to access their rewards is our top priority, even if it causes confusion to some.
