Edit: This idea mostly fell apart  but I've  at least organized the voting properly now I hope for anyone reading this.

I've been collecting all the items in the valley and I've managed to collect everything now (I think). While organizing the trial testimonies I noticed most of the gods in favour of Asterion managed to smuggle something in to aid him and some of the punishments are aligned with the gods who voted guilty. I'm curious if anyone has ideas for this theory or if you think its all just coincidental.

Gods Votes

Hades Vote Innocent             Gift Statue

Hestia Vote Innocent              Gift Mirror

Dionysus Vote Innocent        Gift Healing Wine

Hera Vote Innocent                  Gift ???

Poseidon Vote Innocent*        Gift A fist sized glass sphere/ Hidden  "Sea"

Hermes Vote Innocent           Gift The Bedrock

6  Votes  but 2 discarded  **

Demeter Vote Guilty             Punishment Barren Land

Ares Vote Guilty                      Punishment ????

Apollo Vote Guilty                 Punishment ????

Artemis Vote Guilty              Punishment Aggressive animals?***

Zeus Vote Guilty                     Punishment ???

Athena Vote Guilty****     Punishment the realm

6 Votes

Aphrodite Abstain

Hephaestus Abstain

*(Evidence is in Zeus transcript)

** In discussion with Argos Chapter  17

*** Aggressive animals fits with both Ares and Artemis and but animals hunting him seemed more symbolic of Artemis

****( Evidence is everywhere but specifically Zeus transcript)

Also as an aside we know Hades is doing well and his statue is working fine, but as we know the gods are weakening and the healing bottle of wine are showing up less frequently, which might mean something about Dionysus's wellbeing.

I've now finished the Ruthless routes and this idea was more explicitly stated in it of the fragments and I don't really think punishment aspect is too meaningful. I do have a idea for everyone to think of. What is the fragment/gift from Hera.

Sorry if this was obvious or unwelcome but I had some fun doing this.

All theories are welcome. We're glad to see how engaged you were with the story!

I'm trying not to spoil anything we have in store, but I will say that the Ruthless Route has relevant information about Poseidon. If you don't feel like playing it yourself I'm sure someone here can share the secrets.

Thank you for the encouragement to do the Ruthless route, I was extremely worried about the content but it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. It was a very emotional read, and let me appreciate Argos more than I already did.

The gift of Poseidon is... rather end gamey looking.

Didnt Nemesis reveal to Argos how to obtain it?

Unless they can find someone else to do it.  Maybe Poseidon himself?  Someone sent our way with a message they aren't sure about?

If they have Nick deliver the message that would be just great.

I think you might  overlapping two concepts here. You see, there are things called "fragments" which were left by the gods that favoured Asterion.

Hades - Statue/Garden
Hestia - Mirror
Dionysus - Wine
Poseidon - (Incomplete) Sea
Hermes - The bedrock
Hera - ???

The other punishments you mentioned, are mere characteristics of the Labyrinth as stated in the constitution.

That's what I think though.

Thank  you for your contribution, I hadn't completed the Ruthless routes at the time

A personal head cannon of mine is that Hera's gift is the MC themselves for the good route, with Aries countering it by instilling madness in MC for the ruthless route.
