Although I do have some gripes with it. I haven't completed the first level yet, but right away it is pretty hard to see the enemies fairly often. And they sometimes blend into the environment. It would also be nice to have more autosaves, and some kind of indication that you have taken damage. Throughout my time playing so far I sometimes don't realize that I am on the verge of death, so maybe some kind of grunt or screen effect would be good; similar to doom eternal and the original doom. Other than that I love it! Its really fun and fast pace, the music is great, and I love the cheeky voice lines from the character. The guns are also great too, and I love how you can throw the hammer.

Hey glad you're enjoying it :D
We will be doing more to help the enemies stand out a bit better, mostly via brightmaps so that they're a bit brighter to see at baseline, and show up clearer when they are attacking. The Dreads (imp like) are a good example of an enemy that definitely blends in a bit too well.
We can definitely look at a scaling pain effect getting more intense as you get closer to death as well (I think you're the first person to raise that?).

Thanks for playing!
